To mark International Albinism Awareness Day, we installed an impressive outdoor exhibition at Schouwburgplein in Rotterdam, organized by The Open Eyes Foundation. This exhibition consists of 10 medium portrait and landscape Trotters, showcasing beautiful and moving portraits of people with albinism. Schouwburgplein forms the perfect backdrop for this open-air gallery, where visitors can freely walk around and take their time viewing the powerful works.

The aim of the exhibition is to raise awareness about albinism, as people with this hereditary condition face physical challenges, discrimination, and exclusion on a daily basis. There are still many prejudices about people with albinism. In some countries, individuals with albinism are at great risk and are excluded from family, education, and work. The Open Eyes Foundation is committed to dispelling these myths.
